Hanson Steel Buildings are recognised through a number of nationally accredited bodies. This provides the customer with the confidence they need to choose Hanson Steel buildings over any of our competitor.
Our products are fully approved for the CE Marking standard, this is for steel fabricated sectional structures. EN 1090-1:2009 +A1:2011 Execution of Steel Structures.
The certification covers our factory production control and ensures that all our buildings are of the highest quality and are fit for purpose.
Hanson Shanette Steel Buildings comply with Eurocode 3 which is the standard for the design of steel structures. Our Eurocode standards are:

Hanson Shanette Steel Buildings take health & safety extremely seriously, having a legal obligation to comply with all necessary regulations to ensure that each of our installers operate within the strict health & safety guidelines set out for companies in our field of expertise.
As an accredited and recognised member of the SAFEcontractor Health & Safety scheme we are able to demonstrate compliance with all health and safety standards.
In order to achieve this status, Hanson Shanette Steel Buildings have been thoroughly assessed and vetted by the SAFEcontractor scheme who have completed a full audited of our health & safety policies, procedures and contractor documentation which demonstrates our track record when it comes to safe practice.
CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme)
Hanson Shanette Steel Buildings has maintained excellence in terms of our health and safety record, a crucial component in our continued success. To demonstrate our abilities when it comes to health & safety we have attained membership of the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).
To achieve this accreditation we had to undertake a programme of laborious testing and assessment which means that we are fully compliant with all the health & safety requirements set out by the government run scheme, whose goal is to enhance health & safety standards in throughout the UK.
Approval by CHAS was granted to Hanson Shanette Steel Buildings (trading as Hanson Garages) after successfully providing evidence of a superior health & safety management programme. We were able to provide references of previous work, along with thorough documentation demonstrating the seriousness with which we consider for all health & safety related issues.
Hanson Steel Buildings is a member of Constructionline, which is the UK’s largest online database of pre-qualified construction and construction-related services formed to help improve health & safety in business.
It enables us to demonstrate to people that we are able to show competency when it comes to meeting all industry and government health & safety standards and allows customers to locate our company via the constructionline website when looking for a firm with proven health & safety credentials.
Hanson Steel Buildings (trading as Hanson Garages) along with a number of other companies are listed on the Constructionline database, this has the added benefit of not need to repeatedly fill in standard pre-qualification forms for every construction tender.
